Redding Homes For Sale – Inventory Starting to Climb

As we head into summer inventory is starting to climb back up to “normal” levels. We are currently at 690 homes for sale in the Shasta County MLS and 258 Homes For Sale in Redding.

Inventory has been much lower over the last couple of months with around 500 homes for sale in Shasta County.

This will be welcomed by homebuyers who have been looking to purchase recently. With fewer homes on the market several buyers have been frustrated with not finding
what they are looking for and getting outbid when they do find that perfect home.

Four homes sold in Palo Cedro last month. That is up from January’s 3 homes sold.

The average sales price was $476,250. With the average home size being 3,102 square feet, the price per square foot came in at $154.

The number of homes that sold in Cottonwood last month was 15. That is up from January’s 9 homes sold.

The average sales price was $211,597. With the average home size being 1,853 square feet, the price per square foot came in at $114.

The highest price home sold in Cottonwood last month was $451,000.

Anderson Home Sales – February 2013

Pricing for homes in Anderson has definitely started to stabilize. The average home sales price for February was $159,946 that is up from last year’s average of $142,319.

The average price per square foot was $95.

The number of homes sold in Anderson was 19 that is down from January’s 24.

The highest price home that sold in February was $360,000 and the lowest came in at $45,299.
